While setting up to shoot Mt Diablo, I would look over my shoulder to check out what's going on behind me, trying to make up my mind whether I should setup towards the west. The scene looked promising, but I had no foreground. Just houses at the cul de sac, another hill with power lines and towers.
But when the sun got low, but still bright enough, I knew I had little time to capture this golden light. So grabbed the tripod I did, and scurried down the hillside, setup low to hide the unwanted foreground, and took a few shots.
